Malaysia’s Care Economy is an investment white space: An investment area that serves a strong development need but has yet to benefit from a robust policy framework and political momentum. What would it take to create a robust care infrastructure in Malaysia? And how might increased investments into this sector transform care services? She recently authored a report on enabling investments into the Malaysian Care Economy, commissioned by UNDP Malaysia.

This framework addresses fair compensation, job welfare, labour union movements, job mismatches and foreign labour, says minister of HR.

The framework will provide guidelines for the government in implementing Malaysia's human capital development programmes.
